From September 21 to 24 the Big Sight exhibition complex in Tokyo hosted Tourism Expo Japan 2017 which has been globally recognized as an established comprehensive tourism event that entails B to B and B to C business opportunities. The event is organized through the joint partnership of the Japan Travel and Tourism Association, the Japan Association of Travel Agents, and the Japan National Tourism Organization, and it handles overseas, domestic, inbound and MICE tourism offering an exhibit and conference opportunity for various stakeholders to present the future of the tourism industry. This year Tourism EXPO Japan broke the record and attracted 191,500 visitors represented over 150 countries and regions.
In addition to the traditional format of exhibits and business meetings, Tourism Expo Japan 2017 also offered opportunity towards the expansion of MICE business by organizing seminars, workshops and B2B business meetings, thus creating links between business partners involved. Our company Prime Tour Ltd. participated in this great event for the third time and presented top tourist opportunities of Belarus. Participants and visitors of the exhibition got acquainted with the tourist potential of Belarus – maps, colorful booklets, various information brochures, tourist products in the Japanese language demonstrated the diversity and uniqueness of the natural landscapes of Belarus, cultural and historical monuments, traditional national cuisine, warm hospitality and modern infrastructure of the country.
Japanese visitors are increasingly interested in Belarus not only as a place where business contacts can be established, but also as a site for recreation, cultural and educational tourism. The task of our company is to provide the most wide spread dissemination of information about all travel opportunities, including the new visa-free regime which allows 5-days stay in the country without visa by entering Belarus via Minsk International airport.
